About this Event:
This is a 1.5-day Training Workshop for individuals interested in becoming certified Wyoming Hunter Education Instructors.
Eligibility Requirements
To participate, you must have:
- Completed the Instructor Application
- Successfully passed the required background checks
- Signed the Volunteer Policy
Training Includes
- Meet and greet with fellow new instructors
- Dinner on Friday evening
- Observation of a live class with students
- Policy and protocol training
- Instruction on how to schedule and set up a class
- Lesson plans and curriculum training
- Lunch on Saturday
Meals & Lodging
- Dinner, light breakfast, and lunch will be provided during the training
- Hotel lodging may be provided if travel is required

About the Program
Overview:
Community events offer various opportunities to learn and practice hunting and angling skills.
Community events are offered throughout the year and across the state to teach hunting and angling skills. Community events are offered to a variety of skill levels but primarily focus on introductory skills to the event topic.
